KUNSTFORUM International is a subsidiary of HIRMER Publishers. Since 1973, it has reflected all relevant debates in contemporary art. As a journal created by its authors, it publishes extensive cover features on current themes in the art world seven times a year. In addition, it explores the discourse on art, culture, and society through essays, interviews with artists, conversations with heads of institutions, and exhibition reviews. Special editions on the Venice Biennale and documenta are also published on a regular basis.
