From his home in the Ruhr region of Germany, his vision extends across continents and cultures. In his works, the near and the far converge, as do memory and the present moment. Landscapes and faces coalesce into quiet narratives about the act of seeing itself and the ability to discover a piece of the world no matter where you are. The touring exhibition is made possible by the Essen-based Brost Foundation.
