Scott A. Shields

Scott A. Shields is the associate director and chief curator at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. He holds a PhD in art history and has curated more than seventy-five exhibitions. He has also authored numerous exhibition catalogues, including Echoes of the Earth: Ceramics by Toshiko Takaezu; Richard Diebenkorn: Beginnings; and Wayne Thiebaud 100.
